DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PURPLE MONTH
DVPM
Brooke got in contact with DVPM and explained herself and her mother's situation. The DVPM team believed that Brooke's story was so beneficial that an ad campaign was made re-inacting Brooke and her mothers story, It can often be forgotten that domestic violence not only affects the victim, but also children who may be involved.

"My Mummy was sad in the old house because my Dad used to hit her every day. Sometimes I tried to stop him.
My Daddy should be the one to go away from our house because he was wrong in what he was doing. It shouldn’t be all of us that have to go away. When I grow up, I want to be a lawyer because it looks good on TV programmes and then I can help children and their mothers when they go through what I went through."
